For Hellcat Pro owners who carry daily in Florida’s coastal environment, the factory barrel can leave you wanting more control and long-term durability. The Apex Drop-In 9mm Barrel is built specifically to address those needs — better recoil management, a finish that laughs at salt air, and a direct fit that drops into your existing slide with no gunsmithing required.
This is a ported barrel, designed to reduce muzzle rise and felt recoil by venting high-pressure gas through precisely placed holes along the bore. The result is faster follow-up shots and less muzzle flip — a real advantage in a compact carry pistol. The ports are timed and positioned to work with the Hellcat Pro’s slide geometry. Important: Your slide must have matching port vents. Without them, the hot gas escaping from the barrel ports will destroy the pistol frame. Confirm your slide is port-compatible before ordering.
The barrel is machined from heat-treated chromoly steel with a 1:10 twist rate and a recessed target crown for improved accuracy. Chamber corner serrations are included for visual appeal and ease of chamber checks. The black Melonite finish provides exceptional corrosion resistance — essential for daily carry in a humid, salt-spray coastal environment. This barrel is 100% manufactured in the USA, in Phoenix, Arizona.

For those who prefer a suppressor or compensator, Apex also offers a threaded barrel version for the Hellcat Pro. It extends the barrel by .625 inches and features 1/2-28 threads to accept standard muzzle devices. The threaded barrel is machined from premium heat-treated, button-rifled steel blanks and finished with Black ArmorLube for a lifetime of reliable service. It includes an undercut thread intercept to accommodate a wide range of attachments.
